Wanting a special graduation gift from her grandfather, Toscane asked him for a piece of custom jewelry instead of a computer. She felt a personalized necklace would be lasting and symbolic. Working with Toscane's initial sketch, Melissa was able to develop a beautiful work of art and a necklace. The sterling silver snake has inlays of copper and twisted continuum sterling silver.
